This policy applies to Agriact Pty Ltd and should be read with our website and wholesale terms.

1. Scope

Agriact Pty Ltd manages personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to us.

2. Information we may collect

We may collect names, business contact details, job titles, ABNs, delivery and billing details, enquiry and order records, correspondence, complaint information and technical information routinely supplied when our website or email services are used.

3. How we collect and use information

We generally collect information directly from you or your business. We use it to respond to enquiries, assess trade accounts, prepare quotes, arrange supply and delivery, keep business records, manage complaints, protect our systems and meet legal obligations.

4. Optional website measurement

If you accept optional tracking, Google Analytics may receive technical and usage information such as browser or device details, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source, links selected and interactions. Agriact uses this information to understand and improve website use, enquiries and sales. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services in its partner-sites notice.

If Agriact configures Meta Pixel and you accept optional tracking, Meta may receive similar technical details and campaign events to help measure Facebook and Instagram advertising. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel do not load before consent. You can change your choice using the Privacy choices control.

5. Disclosure

We may disclose relevant information to suppliers, freight and fulfilment providers, professional advisers, technology providers, payment or credit service providers where used, regulators and other parties required or authorised by law. Providers may process information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances when engaging providers.

6. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission is completely secure. We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above or legal recordkeeping.

7. Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing sales@agriact.au. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within a reasonable period and explain any lawful refusal.
